Avast, ahoy, a Bottle of Rum

No matter what you do, Talk Like A Pirate Day sneaks up on you like crazy. Here it almost is again: the 19th of September is Talk Like A Pirate Day. Seriously. I would not make this stuff up.

Special note: Wikipedia mentions that the “holiday is of particular importance to Pastafarians (those who follow the teachings of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster) who consider pirates to be absolute divine beings and the original Pastafarians.”

Still. Not making it up. Someone did, though. It just wasn’t me.
